- Chris and Heidi would like to offer you a warm welcome to their elegant and grand Victorian home, called Penrose, located in the picturesque and historic town of Lostwithiel. We are proud to announce we have been awarded 4 stars by the AA. Penrose is an elegent Victorian House built in 1880 which retains a wealth of original features, including fireplaces in most of the large rooms, cornicing, ceiling roses, chandeliers, high ceilings and stained glass windows. Even though Penrose is elegant and grand, when you walk in you will experience a homely atmosphere. There is off road parking at the back of the house just off Scrations Lane. We are also offering a Cornish cream tea between 4pm-6pm (we need 6 hours notice) and a luxury package.
